Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage ancien, un peu fort. Néanmoins, le tableau conserve de belles vibrations.

A l'oeil nu, on constate des soulèvements dans certaines parties sombres. Il s'agit probablement de vieux repeints qui se soulèvent. Le tableau est encrassé. On constate également deux enfoncements à gauche, vers le haut.

A l'UV, le tableau apparaît sous un vernis vert épais uniforme. On constate quelques anciens repeints sur la partie gauche de l'oeuvre. Le vernis dissimule probablement d'anciennes campagnes de restauration.

Dans un cadre à motifs d'acanthes et de coquillages (approx. 120 x 110 cm.).

The painting has been subject to an ancient relining, slightly firm, but the painting still offers a vibrant material.

To the naked eye, we can see some uplifting in some dark areas. Those are probably ancient repainted areas. The painting carries some dirt. two dips are noticeable in the upper left part.

Ultraviolet examination reveals an even surface green, thick layer of varnish. Some ancient repainted areas are noticeable in the left part of the painting. The varnish layer precludes a more in depth examination of ancient restoration campaigns.
