The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Les tableaux ont fait l'objet d'un rentoilage. Ils sont sur des châssis rapportés.

A l'oeil nu, les tableaux préservent de jolis glacis dans l'ensemble. Le tableau daté '1752 (?)' comporte des repeints dans le fond ayant légèrement viré. Les tableaux sont sous un vernis épais.

A l'UV, les tableaux apparaissent sous un vernis vert uniforme. On ne constate pas de retouches récentes dans les fleurs du tableau daté '1761' qui apparaissent bien préservées aux UV, mais bien des retouches ponctuelles dans les fonds. L'autre tableau, daté '1752 (?)', comporte des retouches plus importantes dans les fonds. Les fleurs sont bien préservées.

Dans des cadres modernes de style Régence (approx. 88 x 74 cm.).

The paintings has been subject to a relining. The current stretchers have been added on at a later stage.

To the naked eye, nice glazes can be seen on the paintings. Some slightly discoloured retouching to the backgrounds is noticeable in the painting dated '1752 (?)'. Both paintings are under a thick layer of varnish.

Ultraviolet examination reveals an even surface, green layer of varnish. No recent retouching to the flowers can be seen in the painting dated '1761'. They remain well preserved under ultraviolet examination. Scattered retouching can still be seen to the backgrounds in this composition. On the other painting, dated '1752 (?)', we can see more important retouching to the backgrounds. The flowers remain well preserved.

In modern Regency style frames (approx. 88 x 74 cm.).
