We would like to thank Luuk Pijl for confirming the attribution of our painting to Paul Bril (1554-1626) on the basis of a photographic examination of the work.

A copy of Dr. Klaus Ertz's note dated 16 May 1989 supporting that this painting is by Paul Bril is provided with the painting.
