Le tableau a fait l’objet d’un rentoilage qui a été correctement réalisé. Il est sur un châssis rapporté à clés.

A l’œil nu, le tableau préserve une jolie matière, notamment dans la partie gauche du paysage.

A l’UV, on constate de nombreuses restaurations ponctuelles dans le ciel et dans les montagnes à droite, une restauration un peu plus débordante dans le coin supérieur droit. Certaines herbes et certains rochers dans les parties brunes en bas ont été remontés. La partie gauche est bien préservée. Le tableau a fait l’objet d’un nettoyage correctement réalisé. On constate des traces de vernis plus ancien dans les parties brunes. Le tableau peut être accroché en l’état.

Dans un cadre de style hollandais (approx. 111 x 90 cm.).

The painting has been subject to a relining which has been thoroughly done. The painting is on a keyable stretcher which has been added on at a later stage.

To the naked eye, the painting preserves a nice material, especially in the left part of the landscape.

Ultraviolet examination reveals scattered restoration to the sky and to the mountains on the right, with a slightly more extensive restoration in the upper right corner. Some of the grass and rocks in the brown areas in the lower part have been strengthened. The left part is well preserved. The painting has been properly cleaned. There are traces of older varnish in the brown parts. The painting can be hung as it is.

In a Dutch style frame (approx. 111 x 90 cm.).
