Le tableau est sur sa toile d'origine et probablement son châssis d'origine mais possède quelques clés rapportées.

A l'oeil nu, on constate des craquelures prématurées dans la robe noire du personnage au premier plan et un réseau de craquelures un peu prononcé dans le coin supérieur droit, ainsi qu'une restauration au niveau de la jambe de la petite fille tenant un bouquet en bas à droite correspondant à une ancienne déchirure réparée à l'arrière de la toile. Le tableau possède de jolies couleurs vibrantes dans l'ensemble.

A l'UV, on constate une petite restauration dans un des arbres au niveau du feuillage. On constate la zone de restauration en bas à droite. Le tableau est sous un vernis partiellement nettoyé avec des traces de vieux vernis dans les parties sombres.

Dans un cadre très abîmé (approx. 127 x 160 x 13 cm.).

The painting is unlined and is probably held under tension on its original stretcher. Some keys of the stretcher have been added on at a later stage.

To the naked eye, we can see some craquelures in the black dress of the figure in the foreground and a relatively marqued pattern of craquelures in the upper right corner, as well as a restoration around the leg of the young girl holding a bouquet lower right which corresponds to and old tear which has been restored at the reverse of the canvas. The painting has lovely vibrant colours throughout.

Ultraviolet examination reveals a small restoration to the trees, in the foliage. The afore mentioned restoration zone lower right is noticeable too. The painting is under a coat of varnish which has partially been cleaned, with marks of old varnish in the grounds.
