The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable surface scratches due to age and handling. The proper left glass eye is broken. The dragon was probably initially part of a group. There is a later bronze patch in the middle of the back suggesting that the dragon was topped by an element. Traces of gilding to his tail. Construction lines visible to the legs and ears. Minor traces of verdigris to the back near the tail. The marble base is later with chips to the edges and with some surface scratches.
