The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau a fait l’objet d’un rentoilage ancien un peu fort qui a légèrement tassé la matière picturale.

A l’œil nu, on constate des restaurations dans les fonds pour combler d’éventuelles usures.

A l’UV, on constate des restaurations récentes dans les fonds ainsi qu’autour d’une des tulipes en bas à gauche. On constate également des restaurations plus anciennes dans les fonds. Le tableau est sous un vernis vert uniforme. Le vase est plutôt bien préservé.

Dans un cadre en bois sculpté doré (approx. 102 x 79 cm.).

The painting has been subject to a quite firm relining it is held under tension and remains stable. The reline has slightly flattened the paint surface in areas.

In natural light some restoration to the background can be seen.

Ultraviolet examination reveals recent restorations to the backgrounds and to one of the tulips lower left. Older restoration campaigns are also noticeable to the backgrounds. The painting is under an even coat of varnish. The vase is quite well preserved.

In a carved giltwood frame (approx. 102 x 79 cm.).
