A l'oeil nu, le tableau a préservé un joli modelé. On constate un léger réseau de craquelures, principalement dans les parties sombres inférieures. On constate une la marque de la traverse supérieure du châssis du côté de la matière picturale.

A la lumière rasante, on constate quelques retouches dans les fonds.

A l'oeil nu, on constate les observations susmentionnées. On constate également des retouches ponctuelles dans quelques fleurs et dans le panier. Sous un vernis vert épais uniforme.

The painting has been subject to a wax reline, which has affected the impasto in areas. It is held under tension and remains stable.

In natural light, the modeling of the composition presents very well. There is a slight network of craquelure, mainly in the lower dark areas. The old stretcher bar mark can be seen along the upper canvas edge. In raking light some retouching can be seen in the background.

The above observations are confirmed by UV examination. There is also some occasional retouching of some of the flowers and the basket. Under a thick varnish.
