112 x 131 cm.).

The painting has been subject to relining. The painting is on a later keyed stretcher. The relining may have slightly flattened the paint material.
In natural light the painting presents very well, with the detailing of the figures and the depth of the composition well preserved. Some discoloured restorations can be seen in the lower left-hand corner, in the brown areas. There is some minor oxidisation of the paint. There are traces of frame abrasion in the upper and lower left corners, as well as restorations due to frame abrasion along the right edge.
Ultraviolet examination confirms the aforementioned restorations. Restorations along the lower edge are also visible. There is some scattered retouching to the figures. Some of the draperies and the hair of the seated boy seen from the back have been slightly strengthened. There is a restoration in the centre, between the two groups, as well as a slightly more extensive area of restoration in the foliage above the fountain, possibly corresponding to an old tear. There are scattered restorations in the sky and the foliage. The paint remains stable.
