Le tableau a fait l’objet d’un rentoilage qui a pu tasser la matière picturale par endroits.

A l’œil nu, on constate un réseau de craquelures qui est stable.

A l’UV, on constate quelques retouches mineures dans le paysage, principalement destinées à combler le réseau de craquelures. Sous un vernis fin uniforme.

Dans un cadre en bois et stuc dorés (approx. 66 x 76 cm.).

The canvas has been subject to relining; it is held under tension and remains stable. The relining process has slightly flattened the impasto in some areas.

The painting presents well in natural light. There is a fine network of craquelure over the paint surface.

Examination under UV light reveals some scattered retouching in the landscape, mostly infill associated with the craquelure. The paint remains stable.

In a giltwood and stucco frame (approx. 66 x 76 cm.).
