Le tableau est peint sur sa toile et son châssis d'origine. Le support est stable.

A l'oeil nu, on constate un réseau de craquelures un peu prononcé, surtout dans le ciel et les bruns en bas à gauche.

A l'UV, on constate des retouches dans le réseau de craquelures, principalement dans le ciel. Sous un vernis uniforme.

Dans un cadre en bois et stuc dorés (approx. 45 x 52 cm.).

The canvas is unlined and on its original stretcher. It is held under sufficient tension and is stable.

In natural light a fine network of craquelure can be seen, most noticeable in the sky and the browns in the lower portion of the composition. The detailing and depth of the composition remain fully appreciable.

Examination in natural light reveals some infill to the craquelure , especially in the sky. The varnish is even. The paint is stable.

In a giltwood and gilt stucco frame (approx. 45 x 52 cm.).
