Le tableau est exécuté sur un carton. L’ensemble est droit et stable.
A l’œil nu, le tableau se présente dans un bel état général. La touche liquide, en matière de l’artiste a été bien préservée. De beaux empâtements sont appréciables dans les rehauts de blanc et dans les personnages au premier plan.
Le tableau est très légèrement encrassé dans le ciel et pourrait bénéficier d’un nettoyage.
Bon état général aux UV.
La matière reste stable.

The painting is executed on cardboard. The whole is flat and stable.
The painting is in good overall condition. The artist's liquid touch has been well preserved. The white highlights and the figures in the foreground show fine impasto. The painting carries some dirt in the sky and would benefit from cleaning.
Examination under UV shows it to be in good condition. The paint remains stable.
