Mis en vente par les Staatliche Museen zu Berlin ; vente [Kunstwerke aus dem Besitz der Staatlichen Museen Berlin], Julius Böhler et Rudolph Lepke, Munich, 9-10 juin 1937, lot 672 (comme Giovanni Battista Tiepolo) [vente annulée ?].

This painting is a copy after the central panel of the triptych executed in 1737-1738 by Giambattista Tiepolo (1696-1770) for the church of Sant'Alvise in Venice.
