Le tableau est peint sur une toile ayant fait l'objet d'un rentoilage. Il est sur un châssis à clés. Le support est stable.

A l'oeil nu, on constate quelques restaurations dans les bruns, notamment au niveau des carnations, du bras gauche de l'archer et dans les épaules et mains du personnage casqué.

A l'UV, on constate de nombreuses restaurations sur les figures (carnations et drapés), notamment dans les zones sombres, ainsi que dans le bouclier de l'archer. On constate une restauration dans la tunique verte du personnage central, probablement associée à un ancien accident. Le tableau est sous un vernis ayant fait l'objet d'un nettoyage partiel dans les fonds, dans les parties claires des carnations, dans le casque et dans la tunique rouge du personnage de gauche. Traces de vieux vernis dans la barbe de la figure de gauche, dans la chevelure de l'archer et dans la tunique verte.

La matière reste stable.

Dans un cadre en bois doré (approx. 137,5 x 114,5 x 10 cm).

The canvas has been subject to relining, it is held under tension on a keyed stretcher. The support is stable.

In natural light some retouching can be seen in the brown and beige tones, notably in the skin, on the archer's left arm and on the shoulders and hands of the helmeted figure.

Under UV light, numerous restorations can be seen on the figures (skin tones and drapery), particularly in the darker areas, as well as on the archer's shield. The central figure's green tunic has been restored, probably as a result of an earlier damage. The painting is under a varnish that has been partially cleaned in the background, in the lighter areas of the skin, in the helmet and in the red tunic of the left-hand figure. There are traces of old varnish in the left figure's beard, in the archer's hair and in the green tunic. The paint remains stable.

In a giltwood frame (approx. 137.5 x 114.5 x 10 cm).
