71 x 58,5 x 5 cm)
English The painting is unlined. On the reverse, the center of the composition has been restored to restore a tear.Canvas tension is good. To the naked eye, the painting has a lovely texture and impasto in the leaves. However, it is dirty and under a very yellow varnish. Racking light reveals the restored tear on the reverse of the canvas. Examination with a UV lamp reveals the restoration at the level of the tear (approx. 4x5 cm), as well as a recent light restoration at ground level. The painting is under an old, thick varnish, with a more recent varnish at the level of the tear. It would appear that an earlier restoration campaign is more difficult to see in the clouds on the left-hand side of the painting. In a frame (approx. 71 x 58.5 x 5 cm)
