Le tableau est peint sur une toile marouflée sur un panneau d'aggloméré.
A l'oeil nu, on constate une petite retouche ayant viré sur le pourpoint blanc du personnage masculin au centre de la composition. Le bleu du ciel est un peu rechargé.
A la lumière UV, on constate des retouches ponctuelles sur la selle en bas à gauche, autour de l'ombrelle, sur certains personnages (dos du personnage féminin, vêtement du palefrenier, chapeaux des personnages du second plan de la composition).
Le ciel comporte des restaurations plus débordantes.
Dans un cadre en bois et stuc doré sculpté (approx. 83,5 x 62,5 x 8 cm), travail moderne.

The painting is on canvas, laid down on board.
In natural light we can see a small area of retouching to the white jacket of the male figure in the centre of the composition. The blue of the sky has been slightly strengthened.
Under UV light, we can see some minor scattered retouching, notable to the saddle in the lower left-hand corner, around the parasol, and on certain figures (the back of the female figure, the groom's garment, and the hats of the figures in the background of the composition). The sky shows more extensive restoration.
In a carved giltwood and stucco frame (approx. 83.5 x 62.5 x 8 cm).
