Le tableau est peint sur un panneau d'une planche, non parqueté. Le panneau est parfaitement stable.
A l'oeil nu, on constate une petite éraflure au centre de la composition entre les deux montagnes.
Le tableau est dans un joli état de conservation avec des couleurs fraîches et de jolis empâtements.
L'examen à la lumière UV dévoile une petite restauration récente dans le coin inférieur droit ainsi qu'une restauration plus ancienne dans le haut des arbres. Le tableau est sous un vernis ancien, partiellement allégé par endroits. Le vernis épais peut camoufler d'autres restaurations antérieures.
Dans un cadre en bois doré (approx. 26,5 x 39 x 4 cm).

The painting is executed on a panel, it is uncradled. The panel remains stable.
In natural light a small scratch can be seen in the centre of the composition between the two mountains.
The painting is in good overall condition, with fresh colours and nice impasto.
Examination under UV light reveals a small area of retouching in the lower right corner and some older retouching to the top of the trees. The painting is under an old varnish, which has been partially cleaned. The thick varnish may hide older restoration.
In a giltwood frame (approx. 26.5 x 39 x 4 cm).
