The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. There are inherent artist skips, negligible abrasions and drying cracks along the extreme edges and corners. Slight surface dust and paintbrush bristles are scattered intermittently throughout the surface. On the second panel there is a faint scratch at the lower right quadrant. When examined under UV light, there are no signs of inpainting.
