Double-page engraved map on two joined sheets, hand-coloured in outline, decorative title cartouche and compass rose, rhumb lines, North America shown with a river named 'Fl. de L'Ouest' connecting through a series of rivers and lakes from Lake Superior to the Pacific, Australia labelled 'Hollandia Nova' with 'Terre de Diemen' linked with dotted lines to the continent, the Solomon Islands and extreme eastern Siberia appear on both sides of the map, 510 x 693mm.
