Oil on canvas board. The board laid in a plain oak tray frame by the estate. A few fine lines of craquelure, a loss to the torso of the yellow clown and a few unobtrusive scattered pinpoint losses elsewhere. Examined under ultra-violet light, the surface is difficult to read due to the artist's use of pigments, however, there is evidence of a few small spots of cosmetic retouching. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work is in generally good condition.
