The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gouache, tempera, pastel, pen and brush and wash and India ink and pencil on wove paper. With the watermark 'Arches' lower right. The edges slightly irregular. The extreme edges with minor small spots of discolouration, mainly visible in the lower half of the sheet. The pigments are strong and fresh. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
