Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Pen and India ink and lithographic pencil on handmade paper. The upper, lower and left edges deckled. Some overall light-staining to the sheet. One irregularity to the sheet towards the upper edge, likely from before the time of execution. An area of rubbing to the sheet at the lower right edge, consistent with the artist's technique and use of medium. Some light surface dirt and handling marks in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
