The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gouache, pastel and brush and wash and India ink on wove paper laid down on card. Minor rubbing to the rightmost figure's feet and at the base of the clock tower. A very small spot of skinning to the upper left corner, likely from the time of execution. Evidence of an old signature stamp is slightly visible at the upper left corner. The pigments are strong and fresh. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work is in good condition.
