The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gouache, brush and wash and India ink on wove paper. With the watermark 'BFK Rives Annam' at the lower edge. Upper and lower edges deckled. Some rubbing of the figures on the easel, apparently from the time of execution. A short crease at the tip of the lower right corner. A few further handling creases in places towards the edges and some mild undulation of the sheet due to the use of medium and artist's technique. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
