The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil, gouache and brush and India ink on handmade paper. The left and lower edges deckled. The upper left corner irregular. Some very small historic losses to the high points of the white oil in the lower left quadrant. A small area of craquelure in the black pigment at the lower centre edge, with two associated pinpoint losses. The pigments are strong and fresh. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
