The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pastel, lithographic pencil, pen and wash and India ink, coloured pencil and pencil on wove paper. The left and right edges irregularly cut. An area of rubbing to the sheet at the upper left of the hand, inherent to the artist's technique. Minor light staining and one small spot of foxing to the right of the chair. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
