The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pastel, colored crayon, pen and brush and India ink, wash and India ink, gouache and pencil on thick wove paper. Hinged to the mount in two places at the reverse sheet edges. Some pale discoloration of the sheet. Two minutes pigments losses in a thick area of India ink towards the center of the right edge. The pigments are strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Pastel, crayons de couleur, encre de Chine, lavis d’encre de Chine, gouache et graphite sur papier vélin épais. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu au montage à deux endroits le long de l’extrémité du bord supérieur. Légère décoloration de la feuille. Deux minuscules pertes de pigments dans l’épaisse zone d’encre de Chine vers le centre du bord droit. Les pigments sont vifs et frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en très bonne condition générale.
