The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Pastel and brush and India ink on laid paper. Hinged to the mount in two places at the reverse sheet edges. Some very pale foxmarks towards the lower sheet edge. One or two nicks at the extreme sheet edges. The pastel and the ink are very strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
Pastel et encre de Chine sur papier vergé. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu au montage à deux endroits le long de l’extrémité du bord supérieur. Quelques très légères piqûres vers le bord inférieur de la feuille. Une ou deux encoches aux extrémités du papier. Le pastel et l’encre sont vifs et frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en très bonne condition générale.
