The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet undulates in places inherent to the artist’s water-based technique. Some soft creases at the lower right corner. The ink is very strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Lavis d’encre de Chine et encre de Chine sur fond imprimé sur papier vélin. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu au montage à deux endroits le long de l’extrémité du bord supérieur. La feuille ondule par endroits, de manière inhérente à la technique à l’eau de l’artiste. Quelques fines froissures au bord inférieur droit. L’encre est très vive et fraîche sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en très bonne condition générale.
