The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Pen and India ink and pastel on brown handmade paper. Hinged to the mount in two places at the reverse sheet edges. The sheet edges are uneven inherent to the nature of the paper. Two or three small nicks and tears at the extreme sheet edges. The pastel is very strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
Plume et encre de Chine et pastel sur papier artisanal brun. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu au montage à deux endroits le long de l’extrémité du bord supérieur. Les bords de la feuille sont irréguliers, inhérents à la nature du papier. Deux ou trois petites encoches et déchirures aux extrémités de la feuille. Le pastel est très vif et frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en très bonne condition générale.
