The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pen and India ink and wash and India ink on thick glossy card. Hinged to the mount in two places at the reverse sheet edges. Some very pale discoloration of the card towards the extreme lower sheet card edge. Some very soft creases at the two upper card corners. One or two nicks at the extreme card edges. The ink is very strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Plume et encre de Chine et lavis d’encre de Chine sur papier fort brillant. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu au montage à deux endroits le long de l’extrémité du bord supérieur. De très légères décolorations du papier vers l’extrême bord inférieur du papier. De très fines froissures aux deux bords supérieurs du papier. Une ou deux encoches aux bord extrêmes du papier. L’encre est vive et fraîche sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en très bonne condition générale.
