The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Wash and India ink and brush and India ink on laid paper. Hinged to the mount in two places at the reverse sheet edges. Some paper skinning and a few very pale stains due to a previous mount. The ink is strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
Lavis d’encre de Chine et encre de Chine sur papier vergé. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu au montage à deux endroits le long de l’extrémité du bord supérieur. Quelques épidermures et tâches très pâles dues à un montage précédent. L’encre est vive et fraîche sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en bonne condition générale.
