The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Tempera, brush and pen and India ink, gouache and pastel on laid paper with spots of silver paint laid down on thick card. A very thin strip of gold mounting tape along the edges. Some pale discoloration of the sheet. The surface is slightly uneven due to the laying down process. A few very soften short creases at the lower right corner. The pigments are strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Tempera, encre de Chine, gouache et pastel sur papier vergé avec points argentés contrecollé sur carton. Une bande très fine de ruban adhésif de montage doré le long des bords. Une légère décoloration de la feuille. La surface est légèrement irrégulière en raison du processus de pose. Quelques très fines et petites froissures au bord inférieur droit. Les pigments sont vifs et frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en très bonne condition générale.
