The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pastel, pen and blue ink and pencil on thick wove paper. Hinged to the mount in two places at the reverse sheet edges. Two perforations at the upper sheet edge. One with associated brown stains. Some discoloration of the sheet, mainly towards the extreme sheet edges. Some rubbing and associated surface dirt. The pigments are strong throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Pastel, encre bleue et graphite sur papier vélin épais. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu au montage à deux endroits le long de l’extrémité du bord supérieur. Deux perforations sur le bord supérieur de la feuille. L’une d’elles avec des tâches brunes associées. Légère décoloration de la feuille, principalement vers les bords extrêmes. Les pigments sont vifs sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en bonne condition générale.
