UN Women is a UN organization dedicated to gender equality and empowering women. They work to create environments where all women can exercise their human rights. With the COVID-19 pandemic women are at an increased risk for infection. Additionally the crisis has reduced access to sexual and reproductive health and seen a rise in domestic violence. UN Women is working around the world to get women the resources they need and bring up-to-date information and analysis on how and why gender plays a role in the COVID-19 response.
