AN ETRUSCAN BANDED AGATE SCARAB WITH A FOOT RHYTON
The simple beetle sits upon a hatched plinth. The underside is engraved in the a globolo style with a rhyton in the form of a beribboned human foot, flaring at the rim, and enclosed within a hatched border. The subject would appear to be unique for an Etruscan gem.
