The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des charnières le long des bords. La feuille a très légèrement jauni et présente quelques fines cassures du papier par endroits. Présence de quelques accrétions par endroits, dont deux plus visibles dans le quart supérieur gauche. Une très fine trace de pliure et un minuscule accroc du papier sont visibles vers l’angle supérieur droit. Présence d’une fine griffure dans l’angle supérieur gauche et de trois très petits points d'enfoncement dans le quart inférieur droit, dont un le long du bord droit. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support along the edges. The sheet has very slightly yellowed and presents a few slight paper creases in places. There are a few accretions in places, for two more visible to the upper left quadrant. A very slight folding mark and a tiny paper snag are visible towards the upper right corner. There is a thin scratch to the upper left corner and three very small dents to the lower right quadrant, for one along the right edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
