The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat backing with archival tape. Lower edge deckled and right edge uneven. A few nicks to the upper and right edges, as well as a minute paper loss to the lower right edge. Faint intermittent brownish stains at upper and lower edges, possibly from a previous mounting. Light-stained. A few pinpoints of foxing, most notably a dot in the upper left quadrant. No restorations detected. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
