The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat backing with archival tape. Artist's tack-holes to the four corners and center edges. Edges lightly deckled with left corners slightly uneven. Faintly light-stained and mat-stained. Pinpoints of foxing. Some faint handling creases at the edges in places. A pinpoint depression at the right of her eyebrow. No tears or restorations detected. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
