The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Hinged on the reverse at the upper corners to the mat backing with archival tape. Faintly mat-stained and light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Upper edge deckled with a few small nicks and faint creases. Short flattened crease to the lower right corner. Scattered pinpoints of foxing throughout. On the reverse, a few pinpoint studio stains, one of which is visible on the recto on the cheek. Line is strong throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
