Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Hinged on the verso at the upper corners to the mat backing with archival tape. Light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Left and lower edges deckled; upper edge is uneven with some minute nicks from a previous binding. Recto: faintly mat-stained along the left edge. Faint smudging of the medium in places. A few stray ink flecks. Small circular accretion to the upper center edge. Verso: archival tape remnants and concentrated stains to the upper edge from previous hinges. Very few stray ink flecks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition. Frame dimensions: 211⁄4 x 171⁄4 x 11⁄2 in.
