The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged on the reverse at the upper corners to the mat backing with archival tape. Faintly light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Edges lightly deckled with one associated minor nick at left center edge. Artist's tack-holes to the four corners and left and right center edges. Short flattened crease to the lower left corner. Faint handling creases. Small stain to the figure's hair at center left. A few pinpoints of foxing. On the reverse, small rectangular paper and adhesive remnants; the adhesive has transferred and is visible on the recto at center left. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
