The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged on the reverse at the upper corners to the mat backing with archival tape. Faintly mat-stained and light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Staining along the upper edge and to the lower left and right edges, possibly from moisture. Left and lower edges lightly deckled; upper edge deckled with nicks, flattened creases, tiny paper losses and remnants of adhesive residue, from a previous binding. On the reverse, horizontal line of staining along the upper edge, faintly visible on the recto.
