The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged on the reverse at the upper corners to the mat backing with archival tape. Mat-stained and light-stained. Upper edge deckled, possibly from a previous binding. Short handling crease to the left edge. Staining at lower center and along the right and upper edges, possibly due to moisture, also faintly visible on the reverse. Scattered small dots of accretions and pinpoints of foxing. On the reverse, remnants of previous hinges to the upper corners.
