The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There are some areas of wear to the enamels on the moulded extremities of all the facets of the box. On the interior of the cover there is a very small area of flaking to the enamels at the outer edge of the scene at the bottom right-hand corner (this is very minor). On the left-hand wall of the box there is a firing fault which dates from the time of manufacture.
