The scene on the cover is taken from Melchoir Küsel’s etching ‘’ from part four of published in Augsburg in 1682. A smaller cartouche-shaped box painted with a scene adapted from this print is illustrated by Ulrich Pietsch in Barbara Beaucamp-Markowsky , Röbbig, Munich, 2013, pp. 162-163, alongside the print.
