She broken through neck and restored, with old discoloured overpainting to the upper back and shoulders. Her head possibly a porcelain replacement. Further restoration to her left hand. The child seated on the table with restoration to object in his left hand and to top of parasol. The standing male figure broken through his right upper arm and restored, his right forefinger broken and half lacking and slight chipping to hat brim. There is a spreading stained crack across the underside of the base, up and behind the monkey, between the table and male figure and branching out to either side behind the table. Chipping, losses and restorations to applied leaves and flowers. Occasional minute chip, slight wear to gilding and enamels, small areas of re-gilding, occasional minor surface abrasion or scratch throughout.
An XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) test was carried out by The Centre for Archaeological and Forensic Analysis at Cranfield University, confirming that the enamels on this object is consistent with the published data for enamels on other Meissen porcelain dating to the 18th century.
