The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Ovreall in good decorative order. The sultan with restoration to his left hand, and to cover of snuff box. A few small patches of res-gilding to edge of his cloak. The lady with top of her headdress restored. Slight chipping to edge of her white robe, area regilt (approximately 2 cm. long). Small areas of chipping, losses and restoration to applied leaves and flowers. Slight wear to gilding and enamels and occasional short firing crack, scratch or surface abrasion.
