Spotted Tulip and Butterfly: Unlined. Frame abrasion along the extreme edges. The canvas is buckled along the left edge. A few minor scattered hairline surface abrasions and a few accretions scattered in the lower register. Scattered embedded paintbrush bristles. Under ultraviolet light, no apparent inpainting. An uneven, discolored varnish may be masking further restoration.
White Petunias in an Abalone Shell: The masonite is flat and stable. Frame abrasion along the extreme edges and a small paint loss in the lower left corner. The surface is slightly dirty with a few scattered embedded paintbrush bristles. Under ultraviolet light, no apparent inpainting. An uneven, discolored varnish may be masking further restoration.
