The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
-Overall condition: fair to good. Shows moderate to heavy signs of wear including abrasions and indentations to the metal throughout. Fitted with clipbacks for both pierced and non-pierced ears. Shell with eye-visible cracks and areas of loss.
-Additional marks: 14 (earring back, heavily obscured).
-Turbo shell: with abrasions, pitting and a couple hairline fractures with areas of dullness to the nacre. Some residue ingrained along the fracture lines.
-Sapphire: with numerous typical inclusions, many surface reaching, multiple surface abrasions and fractures, predominantly to the oval cabochons.
